Public Security has launched new digital services via the Absher platform, enabling vehicle ownership transfers to companies, managing air weapon permits, and submitting accident reports electronically.
🚀 Official Launch at Digital Forum
On Wednesday, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami, Director General of Public Security, announced the launch during the “Digital Transformation Forum: Technology and the Future” held at Public Security Headquarters in Riyadh, under the patronage of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of Interior.
🛻 New Services on Absher Individuals
- Transfer of vehicle ownership to companies electronically.
- Renewal and ownership transfer of air weapon permits.
📄 New Features on Absher Business
- Launch of the “Accident Report” service to report incidents digitally.
- Cancelation of rock-cutting material usage and transport permits.
- Addition of new materials to existing rock-cutting licenses.
📈 Performance Statistics – June 2025
Over 35 million digital transactions were completed on the Absher platform in June 2025:
- 32.9 million via Absher Individuals, including 26.8 million through the digital wallet.
- 2.28 million via Absher Business.
- 3.24 million transactions by Public Security, 2.96 million by the General Traffic Department, 2.13 million by Passports, and 582,000 by Civil Status.
- 139,472 incident reports, 4,810 document delivery requests, and 2,199 fingerprint inquiries.
🆔 National Digital Identity Integration
The Ministry of Interior has issued more than 28 million unified digital identities through Absher. These IDs enable citizens, residents, and visitors to access over 500 public and private services via the National Unified Access Portal “Nafath”.
