In Saudi Arabia, the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) stated that the final exit visa validity period is 60 days, and that there is a fee of 1,000 riyals to be able to cancel the exit visa, which requires a valid resident iqama.
Jawazat's Twitter account asked a question, asking,
"Peace be upon you, I have a question. I settled a final exit for a worker, and since he didn't leave in time, and the 60 days have passed, I want to cancel the exit so I can report him missing from work. I saw the cancellation fee of 1,000 riyals. Is there a way to avoid a fine?
Saudi Jawazat responded to it, saying, "If you fail to leave within the 60 days of validity of your visa, a fine of 1,000 riyals will be imposed to cancel the visa, and a valid resident's Iqama will be required to complete the process."
