The Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan has declared in an interview that the Saudi government has no intention to modify existing expatriates fees.
Al-Jadaan stated that Saudi Arabia has made impressive achievements in 2019, and expressed the hope of seeing further growth in 2020. The government’s objective was very clear in this regard and is actively promoting the participation of the private sector to help achieve Saudi Vision 2030.
He further explained that the government would work on ensuring more financing opportunities for the small and medium enterprises.
Al-Jadaan also confirmed that the government will not impose new taxes or fees before conducting an extensive study about their financial and socioeconomic impact, bearing in mind their impact on the as well as its impact on the Kingdom’s competitiveness.
