A Hajj visa is granted exclusively for Hajj pilgrimage purposes and is valid only during the Hajj period of that year. All pilgrims must leave Saudi Arabia after the Hajj season.
How to Apply for a Hajj Visa from Outside Saudi Arabia
To apply for a Hajj visa, applicants can use travel agents authorized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah or go through their country's government. Foreign pilgrims wishing to perform Hajj must obtain a Hajj visa, except for residents of Saudi Arabia on a residence visa, who still need a permit from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
Processing Time for a Hajj Visa
Hajj e-visas can be issued online within 2 hours, although it can sometimes take up to 5 days. Hajj visas cannot be extended, and holders must leave the Kingdom before the visa expires. Checking your Saudi Hajj visa information is crucial to avoid overstays and penalties.
