Is It Possible To Extend Umrah Visa After 30 Days? Ministry Of Hajj And Umrah Response

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia clarified that, it is not possible to extend the 30 days Umrah visa, explaining that children under 12 years of age are not allowed to enter the Grand Mosque of Makkah.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah through its official Twitter stated in response to an inquiry in this regard, "The system does not allow the extension of the 30-day Umrah visa." 

- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah renewed the reminder that infants and children are not allowed to enter the Grand Mosque of Makkah, as the age groups approved to reserve prayer in the sanctuary and courtyards are 12 years and above with a condition that their health status must appears as 'Immune' in the Tawakkalna application, and the booking through the Eatmarna application.

- The Ministry also added that the date of the Umrah permit can be canceled through the Eatmarna application 4 hours before the entry time for the permit, and a new permit is issued.
