Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development confirms that public sector employees cannot open a commercial registry, conduct business, or work in the private sector.
The Ministry responded to a question about allowing teachers to open a commercial registry, participate in e-commerce, or provide training courses.
At the same time, the Ministry of Commerce clarified the conditions for issuing a commercial register, which are as follows:
* The age should not be less than 18 years old.
* It is not permissible for the applicant to be a government employee
* Capital should not be less than 5000 riyals.
Using this service link, the Ministry of Commerce states that the commercial register can be issued immediately and the activity to be participated in specified.
