During the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Education has revised the school schedules for all public and private schools.
According to the ministry's directive, the school day will begin at the flexible time between 9 and 10 in the morning. Classes will last 35 minutes.
The ministry also established a 9:00 p.m. start time for the elementary, intermediate, and secondary phases of continuing education schools, The academic schedule for each level and class will determine when classes will end.
Education directors in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom have been given the authority to determine the time of the start of the school day in coordination with the regional or provincial authorities.
According to the directive, schools will begin Eid Al-Fitr vacation at the end of the working day on Monday, April 25 (Ramadan 24). Ramadan falls within the newly introduced third semester of the current academic year.
