Several penalties will be imposed on companies and establishments that recruit expat workers illegally or permit them to work for others or on their own account, according to the Saudi Public Prosecution.
According to the Public Prosecution, the penalties for violating companies and establishments include a fine of 10,000 riyals, a 5-year ban on employment, and publication of the names of those companies in the local media.
According to Saudi Public Prosecution, the penalties also include a jail sentence of up to one year for the managing director of the company. If the director is an expat, he will be deported after serving the sentence.
In case they find any violations of the residency, work and border security regulations, the authority asked everyone to report them through the numbers 911 in Makkah and Riyadh and 999 in the rest of the kingdom.
