Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), has unveiled the inauguration of the initial phase of the duty-free market at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. This milestone was announced on Tuesday during an interview with Al-Ekhbariya channel.
Al-Duailej highlighted the ongoing efforts of King Khalid Airport's administration to enhance and modernize the services within the market. Notably, the leased areas within the duty-free zone have expanded significantly, now encompassing approximately 4,700 square meters compared to the previous 2,000 square meters.
Emphasizing the diverse offerings, Al-Duailej underlined that the duty-free market boasts an extensive array of international brands across various categories including perfumes, electronics, leather goods, and more.
