An entertainment zone will open in the Saudi capital Riyadh as part of the kingdom's effort to diversify its oil-reliant economy, according to a senior official.
Boulevard World will feature the world's largest artificial lake with submarines and a village for superhero fans, according to Turki Al Sheikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority.
"Imagine visiting the US, France, Britain, Greece, India, China, Morocco, Japan, Mexico and Italy simultaneously," he told Saudi television Al Ekhbariya.
Al Sheikh added without specifying the opening date, "We'll bring everything in: their markets, restaurants, and markets."
The official said the third edition of the Riyadh Season, a high-profile entertainment festival, will kick off on October 21.
Saudi Arabia has launched a series of concerts, cinemas and stage shows in recent years to boost its entertainment industry.
