The Mecca Health Cluster, overseen by the Ministry of Health, declares full readiness for the upcoming Hajj season, ensuring top-tier medical services for pilgrims.
Comprehensive Preparation
All 18 hospitals and 126 health centers in Mecca and surrounding holy sites have finalized operational plans to provide medical care during Hajj.
Emergency Services
Ajyad Emergency Hospital operates round-the-clock, supported by three emergency centers in the Grand Mosque corridors, equipped for urgent cases. Al Haram Hospital in the Grand Mosque's northern courtyards is activated for the season.
Facilities and Resources
Trained staff and resources are allocated to outpatient clinics. Over 3,900 beds, including intensive care units, are arranged across facilities. 155 ambulances, with mobile support, ensure swift response.
Coordination and Specialized Care
Efforts ensure seamless coordination among centers. A stroke hotline, linked to a virtual hospital, adheres to international standards. Hospitals like Al Noor Specialist, King Faisal, and King Abdullah Medical City offer specialized care.
