Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development issued a ministerial decision Saudizing a variety of professions and activities in Jizan at various percentages.
This is in cooperation with the city of Jizan region, as part of the "Regional Localization" program set by the ministry in partnership with the Ministry of Interior and the governorate of the Jazan, to provide Saudi citizens with more refreshing and productive employment opportunities and increase their participation in the Saudi labor market.
70% of the total workers are involved in the following activities as part of the Saudization order.
* Sales outlets that provide advertising agency services.
* Outlets providing photography service.
* Repair and maintenance outlets for personal computers and laptops.
Additionally, reservation offices and supervisory professions were established
* Halls and palaces for weddings and events, with the exception of cleaning workers and stevedores. While following the uniform, their percentage does not exceed 20% of the total workers, as these percentages will be applied after 6 months from the date of the decision.
Additionally, the decision includes the Saudization of the professions of Operating and Maintaining Passenger Ferries by 50%

* Ship Safety Technician
* Sailor
* Accounts Manager
* Ship Traffic Controller
* Port Controller
* Maritime Navigator
* Maritime Observer
* Maritime Steward
* Ticket clerk
* Accounts Clerk
* Accounts Assistant
* Financial Clerk
* Accounts and Budget Manager
* Financial Analyst
* Ordinary Sailor
Following the decision, all the above mentioned percentages will be applied in two phases, the first after 6 months, and the second after 12 months.
A package of incentives and support will be provided by the MHRSD for the necessary training and qualification process, for the hiring process and career continuity, including the priority of utilizing Saudization support programs available in the Law. A procedural guide was issued by the Ministry, including the mechanisms for its implementation.
- The Ministry emphasized the importance of companies adhering to this decision, in order to avoid the statutory penalties.
