There is no refund available for people who cancel their exit and re-entry visas, according to the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat).
According to Jawazat, exit and re-entry visas can also not be amended by the beneficiary, and can only be canceled through Absher.
Fees for exit and reentry visas cannot be refunded in the event of cancellation, even if the beneficiary has reissued the same visa.
It is noteworthy that the Jawazat had announced earlier that the workers' final-exit visas cannot be revoked during their probationary period.
A visit visa cannot be converted into a residency permit (iqama) by the Jawazat.
In order to travel outside the Kingdom, residents must have a valid visa, in addition to having a valid travel document, as well as adhere to the entry requirements for the country to which they will travel.
Saudi Arabia also permits residents to enter the Kingdom regardless of their immunization status.
All kinds of visit visas to Saudi Arabia require insurance coverage to cover the costs of treatment if someone gets infected with the Coronavirus during their stay in the Kingdom, when their visa is extended, or upon exit and re-entry.
