It is prohibited to hire expatriates (non-Saudis) in the profession of HR (Human Resources) in Saudi Arabia, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
Saudi Labor Law and its annexes specify a set of jobs in which it is prohibited to employ non-Saudi nationals (expatriates), including the following.
* Senior HR Administrator (Chief HR Manager)
* Personnel Manager
* Labor and Workers Affairs Manager
* Personnel Relations Manager
* Personnel Specialist
* Personnel Clerk
* Recruitment Clerk
* Staff Writer
* Time Clerk
* Public Receptionist
* Hotel Receptionist
* Patient Receptionist
* Complaints Clerk
* Treasurer
* Private Security Guard
* Punter
* Duplicator or Key Repairer
* Customs Broker
Saudi Labor Law specifies that these jobs cannot be assigned directly or indirectly to non-Saudi nationals, as they are restricted to Saudi nationals only.
