The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia Dr. Mohamed Al-Abdali said that 50% of those who are in intensive care units have chronic diseases and 60% need ventilators.

He revealed that 50% of the critical cases who are in Intensive care units are cases of those who have chronic diseases, These cases are of a dangerous category, As they have a greater chance of complications, indicating that the medical teams have full capability to deal with the complications of complex cases.

- Al Abdali highlighted that 60% of those in Intensive Care Units depends on ventilators.

- He explained that 4% of Corona patients in ICU's are less than 20 years old, while 13% are between 20 to 30 years, 44% are of between the age of 31 to 40 years and 39% are the elders with over the age of 60.

- All these cases are under extra care continuously and most of the cases respond to the health interventions provided to them and are recovering.
