Saudi citizens and resident expatriates can now report minor accidents through Absher, the online platform managed by the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A suite of new online services was unveiled during a ceremony at the Public Security headquarters in Riyadh, officiated by Public Security Director Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami. The event was graced by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of the Interior.
The newly introduced Public Security services on Absher include:
. Vehicle Ownership Transfer: Seamlessly transfer vehicle ownership from a company to an individual.
. Online Auction Service: Participate in auctions directly through the platform.
. Number Plate Transfer: Facilitate the transfer of vehicle number plates.
. Report Financial Fraud: Report incidents of financial fraud on bank cards (MADA).
. Traffic Violations Extension: Extend the deadline for paying traffic violations.
. Display Customs Cards: Easily access and display customs cards.
. Verify No External Accidents: Confirm that no accidents occurred outside the Kingdom.
. Enhanced Traffic Services Portal: Access a developed portal for comprehensive traffic services.
. Number Plate Replacement: Replace vehicle number plates conveniently.
The introduction of these services marks a significant step in Public Security's commitment to automating services and aligns with the Ministry of the Interior's digital transformation initiatives.
These advancements are made possible through strategic partnerships with the National Information Center and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). The goal is to provide efficient digital solutions and electronic services to citizens, expatriates, and visitors, streamlining processes for everyone's benefit.
