Akasa Air of India will now regularly transport passengers between Saudi Arabia and India, as announced by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Indian carrier Akasa Air is adding Saudi Arabia as a second foreign destination to its route map, following its March international debut with flights to Qatar.
New Routes and Flight Schedule
Flights to Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport are now available for reservation via the airline, which operates from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
. Ahmedabad to Jeddah: Two flights per week
. Mumbai to Jeddah: Twelve flights per week
. Mumbai to Riyadh: Seven weekly flights starting July 4
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), these flights will commence on Saturday, June 8.
Expanding International Reach
Currently, Akasa Air operates four weekly flights between Mumbai and Qatar's Hamad International Airport. The new services to Saudi Arabia will significantly enhance its international presence.
