In a distressing incident at a car washing workshop in Saudi Arabia, an expatriate worker sustained severe back injuries after a crane fell on him during his duty.
The incident was captured on surveillance camera, showing the 25-year-old Pakistani national worker cleaning the workshop floor when the automatic crane used for lifting cars suddenly collapsed, rendering him unconscious.
Colleagues rushed to his aid, attempting to stabilize the machine and prevent further accidents. The injured worker was initially taken to a hospital in Doumat Al Jandal, the historical capital city of Al Jouf, and later transferred to a medical facility in Riyadh.
He underwent surgery on his back and continues to receive medical care. The cause of the crane accident remains uncertain, with no official comments from authorities regarding whether it was due to technical failure or human error.
