The General Directorate of Public Security released a concise statement confirming the arrest, stating that the individual was caught by police patrols in Riyadh after being seen in a video clip donning women's attire on public transportation. Since 2019, Saudi authorities have enforced the Public Decorum Code, which imposes penalties including fines and imprisonment for behaviors deemed offensive or harmful in public settings.
