In Saudi Arabia, Majed Al-Quait, a Human Resources specialist, said that Article 3 of the Saudi Labor Law prohibits discrimination in employment.
According to Al-Quait, Article 3 of Saudi Labor Law states that "citizens have the right to work equally."
According to Article (3) of Saudi Labor Law, every citizen has a right to work. A person may not exercise such a right unless the conditions set forth in this Law are met. The right to work is equal for all citizens.
- He added that, under the work law, employees cannot be discriminated against based on their age, disability, or other characteristics in job advertisements or during the recruitment or selection process.
A Saudi Labor Law stipulates that work is a citizen's right, and no one else may exercise it except after fulfilling certain conditions specified in this Law, as well as the obligation of both employers and workers to apply the provisions of this Law to the requirements of Islamic Sharia.
