In Saudi Arabia, Jawazat introduces 8 groundbreaking electronic services accessible through Absher and Muqeem platforms, revolutionizing passport and residency permit management. Now, individuals can effortlessly report lost or stolen passports and iqamas online, enhancing convenience and efficiency.
This significant development was unveiled at the Riyadh headquarters of the General Directorate of Passports, with esteemed dignitaries including Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif and Director General of Passports Lt. Gen. Suleiman Al-Yahya in attendance.
On the Absher platform, users can access four new services:
1. Passport Loss/Theft Reporting: Report lost or stolen passports seamlessly.
2. Digital Visitor Document Retrieval: Obtain digital visitor documents swiftly.
3. Expatriate Reporting: Streamline reporting processes for expatriates.
4. Visitor Reporting: Report visitor-related issues efficiently.
Meanwhile, the Muqeem portal introduces four additional services:
1. Translated Name Modification: Easily modify translated names as required.
2. Residency Permit (Iqama) Loss Reporting: Report lost iqamas conveniently.
3. Visa Checking and Verification: Verify visa details effortlessly.
4. Employer Notice Warning: Receive timely warnings to notify employers effectively.
