Investment Minister Eng. Khalid Al-Falih has revealed that Saudi Arabia will soon witness the launch of a brand new airline, signaling positive developments for the aviation industry in the Kingdom.
Eng. Al-Falih made this exciting announcement during an interview with Al-Arabiya at the renowned Paris Air Show. He emphasized the importance of having multiple airlines in Saudi Arabia to fulfill the country's economic and strategic objectives.
Highlighting the significance of the tourism sector, Eng. Al-Falih expressed that the new airline, known as Riyadh Air, will play a crucial role in supporting the Kingdom's ambitious strategies.
The investment minister emphasized the need for Riyadh to have direct air connectivity with 100 countries worldwide. To achieve this, the introduction of modern aircraft, including Boeing planes, has been planned as part of the contract with Riyadh Air.
