The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) said that the identity of a resident (Iqama) of those dependents who are outside the Kingdom can be renewed, if the head of the family is present inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This response came from Jawazat, to a resident's inquiry via the official account of Passports department on Twitter.

The residency permit (iqama) for dependents who are out of Saudi Arabia can be renewed if the head of the family is inside the Kingdom.
