The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah verified that doing Hajj rites on a family visit visa is not possible; in order to conduct Hajj rituals, a Hajj visa must be provided.
This was in response to a tweet from the Ministry in this respect, which stated, "The Hajj may only be conducted by someone who possesses a visa particularly for this, or who has a regular resident in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
In his request to the Ministry, a user questioned if a person in the Kingdom on a visit visa may conduct the Hajj ceremonies.
Earlier this year, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that the only application for booking Umrah or prayer in the Grand Mosque, as well as visiting or praying in the Rawdah Al Sharifa, is the Eatmarna application issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
