Jeddah Old Quarter To Rock With Music Festival
Category: Entertainment

Two nights of music will be held this week in Saudi Arabia's Red Sea city of Jeddah.

Friday and Saturday, the Balad Beast Festival will be held in Jeddah's old quarter, Al Balad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

According to the organising committee, the maximum number of fans per night has been set at 12,000 due to the historical value of the area.

In the Balad Beast, 70 Arabs and foreigners will perform on five stages reflecting the rich heritage of Jeddah's old quarter.

Some 200 regional and international artists participated in the second edition of the MDL Beast Soundstorm22 earlier this week in Riyadh.

Saudi Arabia has hosted a series of high-profile music events as part of dramatic social and economic changes.
