Riyadh Police Arrested 8 Expats For Trading Sim Cards Illegally On Others ID's

Riyadh region police in Saudi Arabia arrested 8 expatriates, after they were involved in trading sim cards by registering them in the name of Saudi citizens and resident expats without their knowledge. 
The security follow-up to combat cybercrime resulted in arrest of 7 Indian and Bangladeshi expats. The police seized around 3,200 sim cards, 6 fingerprint readers, 3 laptops, 16 mobile phones, 8 communication charging devices and an amount of 4,060 Saudi Riyals.
- Riyadh police confirmed that they were arrested and all legal measures were taken against them and referred to the public prosecution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as per the report published on Akhbaar 24.
