The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has started issuing Umrah visas for the post-Hajj season, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency. This follows the conclusion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage rituals on Wednesday.
On Thursday, the ministry announced its diligent efforts to implement directives from the wise leadership to accommodate more Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, providing services that meet their needs and aspirations.
Previously, the ministry had paused issuing Umrah permits through the Nusuk application for one month starting from May 23. This pause was intended to facilitate the arrival of Hajj pilgrims in Makkah, allowing them to perform their rituals with ease and comfort. The ministry announced that the Nusuk App would resume issuing Umrah visas from Dhul Hijjah 15, corresponding to June 21.
In its latest statement, the ministry emphasized that the resumption of Umrah visa issuance would ensure the smooth arrival of Umrah pilgrims to the Kingdom. "This annual initiative follows immediately after the Hajj season. It leverages the ministry’s expertise and establishes technical and field programs to serve Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and facilitate their rituals," the ministry stated.
